Editorial Policy

Last updated: 26 April 2026

This policy is provided on an informational basis. It has not been reviewed by legal counsel specific to our operations.

Purpose of This Policy

This policy describes our approach to content creation and editorial standards. It reflects our aspirations for quality and transparency. It does not create binding obligations beyond those explicitly stated in our Terms of Service.

Editorial Principles

Accuracy (Best Effort)

We make reasonable efforts to verify factual claims through authoritative sources. Despite these efforts, content may contain errors, outdated information, or omissions. AI-tool capabilities and pricing change frequently. We do not warrant the accuracy of any specific statement and disclaim liability for any reliance on Site content.

Sources

We cite sources for factual claims, including:

  • Vendor documentation and pricing pages
  • Government publications (BLS, ONS occupation classifications)
  • Independent reviews and industry reports
  • Our editorial team's hands-on testing where practical

Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of advertiser and affiliate partner relationships. Advertising is served by Google AdSense based on content relevance. Affiliate partnerships are not currently active; if added, they will be clearly disclosed and editorial recommendations will not be influenced by commission size.

Methodology

For each profession we identify the tools that fit the actual workflows, write prompts a working professional would actually paste, and (from Month 11) publish monthly benchmark scores against profession-specific tasks. The methodology is versioned at /benchmarks/methodology/ when the benchmark engine launches.

Update Commitment

  • Tool detail pages: re-reviewed every 90 days; pricing/feature changes captured in last_capability_check.
  • Profession hub pages: re-reviewed every 60 days.
  • Prompt libraries: re-reviewed every 90 days; weak prompts replaced.
  • Benchmark dataset: published monthly (first day of every month from Month 11).

AI-Assisted Content

Tool descriptions and metadata are drafted with AI assistance from public vendor documentation, then human-reviewed before publication. Editorial articles, methodology, and "our take" sections are human-written. AI-assisted content is subject to the same accuracy review as human-drafted content. We do not guarantee error-free output from any source.

What We Don't Claim

  • Professional advice in any domain (legal, medical, financial, etc.)
  • Real-time data (capabilities and prices change between reviews)
  • Personalized recommendations
  • Guarantees of outcome or result
